Illuminated Country House

With so much space between houses here in the wilderness, it’s unusual when one of them is decorated so well for Christmas. This old home sits back off the road, up on a hill. The lights are really well done, and what you don’t see is the barn and separate garage which are also lighted. When you drive around these narrow winding roads, you see lighted houses dotting the landscape. Very different from living in a city. The other photo was made this morning when I returned from my walk. It was COLD!
