Christmas Eve Sunrise

There may not be snow this year, but mother nature came through this morning with a frosty sunrise. The temperature hovered around 30, and ice was on the cars and the meadow.

This was the view down Fibber Magee looking toward Otter Lake.

Oak Mountain welcomed the early winter sun as a frosty meadow and Virginia Pines enjoyed the first sub-freezing weather in four days.

My driveway entrance was dressed in all its holiday finery!

The Blue Spruce is as close as I’ll come to a Christmas Tree, but the frost on the needles and weeds made it seem a little more wintry. I think it snowed a little during the night in the high mountains above 4000 feet. Have a Merry Christmas!
