Evergreen Rock Garden is Growing

With a steady rain the past couple of days, the pines, junipers, cedars, cypress, and sedum have really greened up. I am so pleased with the progress of this little creation….  I’m always looking for new rocks to fill in gaps. Come spring, the colors should be incredible!

There was a fog hovering over the mountains this morning.

The pines have grown to over seven feet already.

The rain has really intensified the colors in the field across Fibber Magee from the house. These oak trees retain their dead leaves all winter, and the blackberry leaves also hang around through the winter along the ground. This is where most of my rock garden evergreens came from. It was a warm 39 this morning.
