Freezing Fog Over Otter Pond
With the temperature hovering right around freezing this morning, a thin coat of ice was on the cars, deck, roof, and rocks. There was a heavy fog after three days of rain, and my walk to the pond revealed an eerie light. Ice was on the cattails along the bank. The fog absorbed all the sound, and the silence was so cool! Thanks for visiting – nice to meet another Carolina blogger. I lived in Linville for 10 years before moving to warmer climes in Asheville. Winters were too harsh in the mts but the scenery was lovely!
Again, Beautiful!
This would make a great mural for my family room.
