Redbud on the Mountainside

Even before any of the leaves or other flowers have opened, the Redbud trees have burst fourth on the eastern slopes of Young’s Mountain. The woods are dotted with them. Saw many wild turkeys, and four White Tailed deer, as I drove the steep gravel road to the summit. At the top, a new log house is almost complete, and I made a photo of the view from their deck. It was cooler today by ten degrees, thanks to early morning rains. Always fun to explore new places.

Just another Redbud photo. Very beautiful stuff.
