The First Morning in the 40’s- September 10th, 2012

As autumn approaches, the temperature has dropped below 50 degrees for the first time. This drop is especially evident around Otter Pond, where the reeds and cattails are showing the signs of Fall.


The wildflowers around the pond continue to dazzle…


More yellow blossoms are opening…


The mist seemed to linger above the surface and make the reflections muted.


As the sun appeared, the colors really became bright, and the water reflected a blue cloudless sky.
