Ice on Grandfather Mountain
A quick drive to Grandfather Mountain found frozen waterfalls and snowfields. The peaks themselves were snowless, but the beauty of the sleeping slopes was serene.
The dormant rhododendron fields on the mountain harboured deep snow from the last storm.
