Heavy Snow Near Banner Elk
After three days of steady snow, the sun came out to reveal a magical landscape near Banner Elk, North Carolina. The drive north from the house was less than an hour and a half, but oh so worth it! I especially like the green moss growing on this knarled tree trunk. Remember, you can get the full screen effect by clicking on any photograph.
