The Great Smokies are majestic from the Tennessee side. The boundary between North Carolina and Tennessee runs along the top of the distant ridge.

Another idyllic stream flows out of the National Park.

Smokies Valley in Tennessee
This expansive valley could just as easily be in Europe or Colorado.
