Otter Pond Under Ice

With an average low the last four mornings being 11 degrees, Otter Pond has completely frozen over. This happens every January, and has lasted as much as two weeks at a time.

  2. I didn’t realize ice froze clear when it is still. That makes sense … (guess you can tell I never lived in the real
    froze north!)
