Narrow Leaf Sunflowers Return
From the middle of September to October first, the front meadow is covered with thousands of bright yellow blossoms, making it my favorite two weeks of the year here at the house. Narrow Leaf Sunflowers reach six feet high, and every year, their numbers increase arithmetically.

I had to rerun this photo from last year, featuring “yours truly”.
I’m pretty sure those are what our family always called Black-Eyed Susans, but I don’t remember that they got to 6′ tall. Beautiful.
I love sunflowers of any variety and these are beautiful……..really enhance you house and surrounding land. Thanks for the share.Patsy From: Living in The Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina- A Blog To: pjcar119@yahoo.com Sent: Saturday, September 19, 2015 8:42 PM Subject: [New post] Narrow Leaf Sunflowers Return #yiv0959255643 a:hover {color:red;}#yiv0959255643 a {text-decoration:none;color:#0088cc;}#yiv0959255643 a.yiv0959255643primaryactionlink:link, #yiv0959255643 a.yiv0959255643primaryactionlink:visited {background-color:#2585B2;color:#fff;}#yiv0959255643 a.yiv0959255643primaryactionlink:hover, #yiv0959255643 a.yiv0959255643primaryactionlink:active {background-color:#11729E;color:#fff;}#yiv0959255643 WordPress.com | Carolina Vann posted: “From the middle of September to October first, the front meadow is covered with thousands of bright yellow blossoms, making it my favorite two weeks of the year here at the house.
